Duende Libre Quintet @The Seattle Center Armory

  • Seattle Center Armory 305 Harrison Street Seattle, WA, 98109 United States (map)

The Quintet is honored to perform at the 2nd year of the “A History Worth Preserving” concert series commemorating the Buffalo Soldiers and the tie-in to the early stages of jazz in Seattle. Many of the members of the Buffalo Soldiers division were talented contributors to the beginning of area jazz in the 1920s and 1930s. The series sheds an awareness on a part of history that may not be that well known. The Buffalo Soldiers Museum in Tacoma (www.buffalosoldierstacoma.org) is the driving force behind the series.

Refreshments will be available at the intermission.
